1. Our standards against CSAE
Peepl prohibits any content or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child. This includes:
- Creating, uploading, requesting, sharing, storing, linking to, or offering access to CSAM.
- Grooming, sextortion, sexual solicitation of a child, or attempts to move an interaction elsewhere for exploitation.
- Child sex trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, or facilitating contact for those purposes.
- Sexualising children, encouraging child sexual abuse, or normalising exploitative behaviour.
- Threatening, coercing, blackmailing, or otherwise endangering a child for a sexual purpose.
These rules cover posts, comments, profiles, images, videos, Voice Thoughts, messages, voice notes, calls, live Tables, usernames, and links.
2. Adults-only service
Peepl is intended only for people aged 18 or older. Accounts believed to belong to an underage person may be restricted or removed. This age restriction does not reduce our responsibility to detect, address, and report suspected child exploitation.
3. How to report a concern
Users can report safety concerns inside Peepl from the available report option on posts, comments, profiles, messages, and Tables. Reports are sent to Peepl for review without requiring the user to leave the app. Users can also block an account to stop further contact.
If the in-app reporting option is unavailable, contact support@getpeepl.com. Include the relevant username and enough information to locate the account or content. Do not download, copy, forward, or attach suspected CSAM.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate law-enforcement authority. Peepl is not an emergency service.
4. How Peepl responds
We review suspected child-safety violations as urgent. Depending on the available evidence and applicable law, Peepl may remove content, restrict features, suspend or permanently ban accounts, preserve information needed for an investigation, and take steps to prevent further distribution.
When we obtain actual knowledge of apparent CSAM or child sexual exploitation, we take appropriate action and report to relevant regional or national authorities as required by applicable law. We cooperate with valid legal requests and preserve only the information reasonably necessary for safety, reporting, and legal obligations.
